The LBC bug has bit me again, going to vintage races when I have no money is always a problem
I may be selling my motorcycle to finance a project if there is any interested.
Pertinent details:
27k miles
Leo Vince slip on exhaust
Flat/matte black paint with pinstriping, some scratches and such from normal use but still looks decent
It was knocked over in my apartment lot about a month ago so the front brake lever and rear brake pedal have been damage, the tip came off the lever and it still works fine. I rigged up the rear brake with a bolt to step on but probably should be replaced.
Buell dual headlights and flyscreen.
It will probably need a new rear tire in the next couple thousand miles, I have used it mostly for highway riding so it is worn down more in the middle.
I can take more pictures if there is interest. These two pics were from when I got it so they don't show the flyscreen, paint wear, or tire wear.
$2000
Located in Columbus, OH
$2K? Where are all the "what first bike" thread starters? This is IT!
Yeah, winner. No, I don't need it.

Wow, I did the thing I hate most in ads. I accidentally spelled "brake" as "break". Edited now so I don't look stupid
Is that one Fuel Injected or Carbed?

I always like seeing "for sail" or "for sell."
Oh dear God, I want this bike. Thankfully, I'm in the middle of personal finance Armageddon so it keeps the bike much further than arms reach.
An early round tubed and carbed SV? Holy crap.
God's own motorbike right there?! Someone snap this up!

I do want that 2002 of yours...you probably aren't in the position to put cash on top of it though

Someone please buy this so I can stop trying to find a way to come buy it.
Evan, is there a harbor freight near by you where I could buy and then assemble a trailer?

There sure is. I also have a utility trailer that I may be convinced to include for a few hundred more

Got that old chevy coupe and traded me....
I haven't heard from the Chevy guy yet, maybe he's on vacation this week.
That was a $1200 item, you'd swap that for the 650?

Well maybe that and the trailer, if the Chevy fit on it.
Chevy won't fit I promise you.
Someone here PM d me about buying the GW, lets see if money talks as well. Selling the Wing and the trailer gives me $2k +.
Don't hold the sale for me, but wheels are turning. If it happens then it was meant ot be.

P.S.: How'd you snap the brake pedal?

Someone knocked it over in the parking lot and drove off (or walked, I don't know who did it) and the pedal snapped along with the tip of the front brake handle. No other damage though.
This is killing me...
could you see one riding it from your place to say.....Grand Rapids, MI (49428) and using it as a daily commuter?

I think it would be perfect for that, I rode it from Columbus to Philly in one weekend (~1000 mi round trip) and it never skipped a beat. The wind buffeting on the highway can get a bit annoying after awhile but since you are used to a naked bike it would be the same.
