They don't list a price but I'm guessing it's under $2018

I see you're shopping for your trip, buy a trailer, might as well buy a car or two to drag back . Still not sure why you'd want to drag a car from Ohio to Florida, unless the car was plastic as that's my only issue with southern cars.

What are you hunting? I'll keep my eyes open.
When are you coming?
The only thing old and cheap you should be looking for in Ohio (Cleveland specifically) is interior donors.
Since we do not have the harsh sun, our interiors are often "super mint" compared to what you are used to.
Or, look for boats. Since ours never see the same harsh sun and then are actually out of the water for the entire winter months, they do not age the same as Florida boats. Even more important...no salt water anywhere near here. Everything is fresh water and the metal parts are "like new".

Rusty doesn't mean cheap.... if it has a valid E-check, it's worth $1500-2k. If it is old enough to be emissions exempt, it's worth waaay more than $2k. (Trolling CL for NA Miatas, for example, I don't think I saw one under $3500 and most were priced way above that)
What you need to do is advertise YOUR cars up HERE. And work out a deal to pick up whatever while on your way up here to deliver what creampuff rustfree car that all it needs is a head gasket and transmission and main bearings, and use the money you get from that to pay for the trip and the carcass of whatever iron oxide nightmare you dared yourself to drag back south.

I'm coming in a couple of weeks but just discovered my midengine idea won't work. But I think you'll like the direction it means we're heading.

8/9 if I remember correctly. Wondering what engine/drivetrain as well, I might have a line on a few early 2000s gm fwd v8s that weren't ls engines depending on budget. Also may be able to get a hold of a few 4L80Es, not sure the budget implications of getting these working with all the electronics. We can take this offline if you like secrets.

Only problem is I'll have a trailer heading south but not north. Might be counter productive to sell my truck once I get up there.

If it has anything to do the sixth sphere, AWESOME! If not ??? Care to elaborate?

Message sent to Stampie regarding this ;) My buddy in Beaufort, SC has a rough Meyers Manx clone for me, can meet at I95. I am just south of Newark, OH, but could arrange to meet at intersection of I70 & I77.
You'll need to log in to post.
