It does currently run but I wouldn't want to drive it too far with the open header and leaking gas lines. They are only leaking enough to be damp but I don't know how long they will last without patching or replacement.

In reply to EvanB:
I would be towing it back to Michigan to do the necessary repairs just curious if it needed to have more done to start at first.
I drove it home when I bought it (~8 miles) and occasionally start it up to move and drive around the block.
I have sold some parts. The engines and transmissions are gone along with some interior parts. I am open to offers on the car with remaining parts.
You sold the engine/transmission in the car, or some other engines, leaving the car with an engine?
Marc
Is it wrong that I want to take one of these, hack off the fenders and their support structure, drop the body onto a slammed model A chassis, and put the grill/headlights/front fascia up front, and have a big V8 engine sitting in the open space between them? Kind of a mashup of a Rabbit and a rat rod t-bucket?
