PM received, just woke up. I too am surprised it hasn't sold yet, but besides this forum, LeMons and Markclubvii.org I've only "advertised" it by word of mouth. I haven't started it in a while, I think I'll throw a few dollars worth of gas in it and take it to work tonight.

I still haven't had time to mount the 15's.

Ok. I don't have internet during the week but I'll be in touch eventually.

Price drop because I'm a bastard and robbed the passenger side window motor from this to put in my white Lincoln.

$450

Well E36 M3. Looks like someone local may be snagging it this Friday. Friend of a friend needs a car.

BlueInGreen, I'll keep you posted and let you know if it falls through. You may be better off, they tend to multiply.

Edit: nevermind.

Game on!

Here's the goods:

Severe camber wear but it holds air.

Wires showing, held air but leaked down.

Decent tread but leaked down and de-beaded.

Great tread and has held air since I bought the car. I use this as a spare.

One of the 235/60-15's I snagged from a friend who put drag radials on his '68.

The other 235/60-15

The trunk with a floor jack and a jug of coolant.

The trunk stuffed with two flats and an inflated spare.

The 235/60-15's and the camber/toe worn inflated spare.

BlueinGreen44 is having his own Street Safari: 420 miles from Commerce, Michigan to Pekin, Illinois, buying a low budget project car then driving it 420 miles back to Commerce, Michigan. Should be quite an adventure!

He's due to arrive in about an hour.

Despite the fact that I've driven it to and from work quite a bit, I'm now second guessing everything I've done to the car...

That's great news! I hope he has good experience with it. I'd be lying if I said that I wasn't tempted to come grab this myself, only to throw a manual and some good brakes at it and rallycross it until it died.

The Stincoln is officially sold and gone.

I too hope he has lots of fun and many happy adventures. He said the Rallycross scene is very active in his area.

The fuel filter picked the moment he took off for his test drive to begin leaking. A quick trip to the 'zone and a new fuel filter was installed, free of charge.

At least it didn't happen when he was on the road.

The car is a champ and it makes glorious noises. No trouble at all on the ride home. Thanks for everything! Tomorrow I'll start a write up of the adventure across the Midwest.

edit: Heck, I'll start writing now. I'm still caffeinated.
