That's exactly what I was thinking.
Actually, Paul has an SVX that has already been converted. Plus there is a million other things he has done to the car that makes it the perfect SVX candidate if you were looking for one. Plus, Paul did it so you know it is nice.
I think it is a little out of the budget, though.

Ummm... they ALL had 6 cylinders. Nothing rare here.
They are not V-6's, they are boxers (horizontally opposed)
I've got a 5 speed. Fabulous car. Konis, adjustable coil overs, 4:11 final drive (rippin fast- GREAT fun!) I'm selling- for about 1/2 what I've got in it (if anyone would like a tremendous piece of awesomeness).
My first Challenger was an SVX we called the SVreX (hence my screen name). Ran 13's with no motor mods and the original A/T.
5 speed SVXii ROCK!!
It was AWD. And it figures, we just got in a '90 Legacy AWD 5 speed, with a slipping clutch that I can get for $250. That car has pretty much everything that you need to convert the SVX.
