I haven't seen much talk. Will there be a Gastropod class this year?
Assuming we are still able to come, I'll probably be doing radwood than instead of gastropod. Main reason being a maxed out Recoup and trade deals and suck
I feel like the subclasses are loosing their gel. Too many real competitors aren't on the forum often to see the subclass chatter, and too much of the subclass chatter on the forum is done by folks who don't intend to build a car to the subclass. Gastropod is, in my opinion, a good example of how hard it is to write good rules.
I've tried to pull myself out of the subclass discussions the last year or two specifically because I don't want to be in the 2nd group while my build is not affected. Last year it looks like there was CAM, RADwood, stock block (Gastropod?), $1000, parking lot, and 'bought at auction'. Note that even though aristocrats wasn't a class, there were more 'aristocrats' in attendance than most of the above listed classes.
My suggestion is to pick one, start a cool build, challenge some other folks to come play in your class, and boogie.

Radwood for me too.
2020 sucked so bad for me I'm just pretending it never happened and Radwood is the official theme this year.

Same. Presuming the car is running and I don't have to deal with any hurricanes that week.
