Where are you located at, Mark?
I think he is in Baltimore. Maybe.
Severna Park. About 20 mins south of Baltimore.
If anyone has thoughts on how much this is worth, please let me know. And I'm asking for sincere thoughts. I know what we can say with a few beers under our belts.
Good timing. Poor location...for me haha.
Good luck, hope someone here gets it quick.
Did you like having the scissor lift? Pro/ con?
I really want this. I'd venture to guess it's in the $1200-1400 range. This could make parting cars a...lot easier. Poor timing on my end. Wayyy too many house projects going on right now.

I looked at a used one last year. Same model. A Ford dealership had bought it new and used it as a light duty spare for two weeks while they were having their shop redone. It was like new and they were asking $900. They even offered to load it into one of their trucks and deliver it from Poughkeepsie New York to my house in Connecticut at no cost.
I ended up a new MaxJax instead.
If I were selling I'd be asking $1500 and give strong consideration to the first offer over $1000

I liked the scissors lift for the 911s. Doesn't work as well on the RX7 for what I'm doing. Mainly I'm getting rid of stuff I'm not using. Watch. In 6 months I'll be kicking myself for selling it as it's a really well built lift, but I need space and money more than the lift. When I need to do the clutch on the 996, which won't be for a while, I'll really be hating it, but I may also pass that joy onto a tech.

Trying to avoid CL but maybe I should pull the trigger.
Making sure that you all know that the wooden ramps are included. I have them set up with stops on both ends so the car can't accidentally roll. They are 2x8s (I think) and give that extra 1 1/2 inches of clearance for race cars by running the entire length of the lift plus feet.
racingjunk might be the answer
if youll take a grand it woul be worth the drive for me to get it
If Kevin doesn't take it, what price shipped to 45886?
In reply to aussiesmg:
I'm not sure how I'd ship it?
In reply to CarKid1989:
I'll think about it.
I'd be at a grand also, that's were they seem to sell used.

Freight company, look at something like uship.com that could put a quote together. But you'd likely be dropping it off at a freight terminal (or the buyer would be paying more for door to door service)
Kind of a pain, but it seems like you can get it sold locally.
I am heading out of town for the weekend. It's my parent's 50th wedding anniversary. I'll get back to everyone shortly. Thanks!
Setting the asking price at $1250.

I have one of these and they are a bitch to move. When I picked mine up at the shipping depot, they used a fork lift to lad the pallet into my truck. We then used an overhead chain hoist to off-load it in my ex's garage. Moving it to my house was a bit trickier. I rented a Penske box truck with a lift gate and even that was tricky to do by myself.
Good luck. I don't see selling mine anytime soon. I'll mention yours to my ex. She liked having the lift for waxing her cars (bad back) and her brother has a box truck with a big lift gate.
