Yeah! Thanks a bunch!  I haven't made it to the Challenge yet & you guys on the weekly video chats have inspired me to try and become a sideline cheerleader at least once and then decide if I want to keep wearing the miniskirt or do a build.

I paid for everything but registering a team if I remember & reserved a room at the hotel last week.

Can't get PM's due to yahoo! email so if you need to get in touch you can call or text.

He might still have my phone # from when he was moving here.  We were supposed to meet up with some others when he came to check out the area but I had to bow out at the last minute.

The registration page now has a place to put crew members. If you've already entered, you should be able to edit your entry and add names. If you have any issues, email me (Tom@) and I'll straighten it out when I have a free minute.

Considering their popularity as meeting places for illicit rendezvous, it would be pretty hard for them to regulate room occupancy. They are not interested in policing people. They just want to protect themselves from potential liability. 

At some point during the pandemic, and I'm not even sure where this was in effect, I read that hotels were restricting rooms to 1-guest per bed - which I'm totally ok with for the challenge - but that would seem to preclude having anyone sleep on the couch/floor too.

So, they would tell married couples, or children not to sleep in the same bed?  How would they enforce that?  Add cameras to private rooms?

Doesn't sound like a very viable business model.
 

I suspect if any local authority tried to tell that to a major chain like Hilton, Hilton would tell them to pound sand.

I mean you're the one suggesting camaras in hotel rooms.  Just saying.

If I am bringing a toddler and grandma/babysitter, can I register them as crew or do I need to keep them out of the event?

I've checked with the host hotel and there are no restrictions with the rooms.  

Looking at the registration list, so far there are two Fords registered.  Both  of those people are vocally anti Ford.  Strange year for sure.

I wasn't concerned about the rooms. I never suspected any room restrictions. I was wondering about restrictions on the common areas. 
 

Are they serving breakfast?  Is the pool area open?  Are they doing banquets?

The hotels I've been staying in have no breakfast, pool areas are closed, evening socials are cancelled, rooms are not cleaned nightly (only after guests check out), and rooms are left vacant for 2 days after a guest leaves before cleaning staff enters.
