I have a used lithium battery that is a 12v; 35a; 480cca from Battery Tender sitting on my shelf. I cannot find any direct used values and would like to request a FMV of $90. I found other lithium batteries with similar specs that were sold (attached) on eBay <attached>.ebay sold listings

Used starting/12v battery is $25 at every Upull in my area if you want to be in at $90 I'll give you the first vote but I think it's too much.

I agree with Byrneon27.  If you want $90, I'll agree it seems fair, but cheaper options exist for a challenge car. (including a light weight lawn tractor battery, that's what I ran in my Jaaag for 2019)

I don't have access to that google drive but if you already have ebay sold listings then you have your comps for FMV and no need to ask us.

Oreilly's gives $10 for every unused, unwanted battery you possess.

I had a similar battery that I replaced in one of my cars because it wouldn't stay charged for more than a few days, so I didn't trust it to not leave me stranded at some point. The Walmart core value was $12. That's its value to me now.

I am so far removed from the market, but my understanding of the spirit put the number close to core value or slighty above it you know it to be a particularly nice old extra battery repurposed from the shadows of the garage.

No. A lithium battery is not a core value even used.

I stand corrected, and by someone I consider an authority in this area. Disregard my thoughts, I now agree with this guy.

I didn't know about that authority stuff.  I based that on the extra cost when new, the longer life of lithium batteries, and major weight savings vs a lead acid battery.

The down side is lithium batteries can get discharged enough that it's more difficult to get it to take a charge. The other problem I know from experience is older designs can catch fire. In my case my alternator (new reman) was putting out 20+ volts. Not a fun thing to have the car die mid autocross and then try to remove the battery before it caught the car on fire.
