I am not sure if this is the correct way to do this or not.

Long story short I traded a 2006 Mini cooper S for two of EvanB Opel Kadette wagons.

One wagon is in a lot worse shape than the other.

I would like to propose a FMV of $200 for the worst of the two wagons.

Evan had a sale add up a few years ago to sell the wagon that I am wanting to do a FMV for. His asking price was $200 and it did not sell.

Here is his for sale add from then:

If I remember correctly I just need 5 forum members to agree with my FMV request.

Same state, or worse, than the ad?  If so, I'll cosign $200.

Correct. I would say same or maybe a little worse from the ad.

Just make a receipt.   Assign values to things and make a receipt.   Clearly what happened was you sold a 2006 Mini Cooper S to Evan for $800 or whatever and bought a $200 open Kadett and a $600 one (insert actual values here).

This really isn't a FMV situation.  Just get a receipt.

This one ?

$200 is probably too much.  There's a reason nobody bought it at that price.

Also, do you need a running driving Chassis donor  to swap the body onto?  If so, NoCones and I have one for ya.

Remember the Pri-Hard build?

He's dragging the trimmed up carcass back this way.  I was going to part it out, but an Opel body swap would be sweet !  He could just as easily drag it to your location, or you can swing by here and grab it.

I think I am going to go with a more performance oriented build.

Well, I tried to buy it, despite the condition, for $200 (full asking price) and could have afforded to go get it at the time. But after several attempts, and zero replies, I assumed I was not offering enough. Or maybe I do actually qualify as nobody.

So yea, it was definitely not available to anyone on GRM for less than $200 surprise

I can however totally agree with a FMV of $200, as it's not worth more in its shape.

But definitely not less.

I will have all of the drive train out of my GT if you want any of it. Got another GT guy that gets some dibs, but the rest is scrap to me.

I am about 10 hrs from Pittsburgh, PA.

Sorry if there was any miscommunication there, I don't recall you ever messaging or communicating a firm plan to pick it up. It was definitely available for anyone for $200 or less but nobody showed up with cash.

Never made a firm plan. Would have, but no replies, so, couldn't.

I was only pointing out, that it is incorrect for him to say that no one was interested at $200

Definitely not implying you said that. No worries. laugh
