I have a lot of stray don't know why I have them tools. That are free to a good home. I only ask that if you don't have a need for them keep them Free. Just pass them on to someone who may need them. If you find your self in El Paso no shipping. <img src=" photo 072_zpsb9435f2e.jpg" />

Patgizz,

If there's any metric wrenches in there you don't need, I need to replenish my sets after a recent theft. I can supply you with plenty of SAE/other tools in exchange.

Just saying...

I sell a lot of tools, but (surprisingly?) I use them too. I sell mostly SAE stuff, since I use them once in a blue moon. I've sold off quite a bit of 3/8 drive metric sockets, since I have 3 sets. Metric wrenches, 1/2 sockets, and other stuff aren't too easy to find buying old timer's yard sale lots, and I need them to work. While I have a couple hundred SAE tools for sale, I've found 3 metric wrenches out of all those lots.

Jonny, that's awesome. I'll definitely take them, but I know I'm not first in line. That being said, if whoever gets them doesn't want that 1.4" drive air ratchet, I'd love to have it. I have a lot of random tools I could trade/add to the roving free tool pile.

Extra screwdrivers I can understand, but "extra 3/8" extensions" is like speaking a foreign language to me. ;-)

LOL I stopped using 3/8 stuff ??? 12 yeas ago. My go to size is 1/4 and if that dont do it 1/2! Time is money

I still have over 6 feet of "extra 3/8" extensions"over 6 feet of 1/2 and more than 4 feet of 3/4.

This is not half of what I have

Dude, share an address. Too many High School kids want to use ZipCar and the bus and don't know a ratchet from a regulator. I shudder at the future of our once-great car-culture. I'm sure we all have some leftovers to donate. PM me to start.

I don't want to make too big of a deal about it, I am very fortunate to have enough to get the basic jobs done(wrenches, ratchets, pliers, etc.) it's just I'm always running into those situations when I wish I had certain tools that I can't afford. Trying to expand the breadth of my tool selection.

About me:

Junior in high school. Feb. 2013 I picked up a job as a bus boy and got a second bus boy job over the summer. Saved up forever and finally bought an '82 280zx. Me in my infinite wisdom overlooked all the faults in the car and had to buy it immediately once I test drove it. Payed wayyyyy too much ($2k). Rebuilt the brakes, put in a new power steering rack (both needed to be replaced) and got her registered and on the road.

I E36 M3 you not two weeks later I get a horrific sound of rod knock on the way back home from school. I was planning on taking her to the $2013 challenge the next day just for fun (was over budget). That's where the fun began haha. A good friend of mine sold me another L28E out of a '78 280z, put that in, tried to get the EFI system to work on it, failed miserably, found some Weber 32/36 DGAV Carbs for super cheap and now I'm trying to get those running. The carbs run, just fabricating a reliable throttle linkage is the challenge.

whew, ya'll asked

Looking to do a challenge build with my dad and best friend this summer. Pops says I have to get one POS out of the garage first before I can start on another one though hahaha

I totally agree it's really sad to see the lack of appreciation of cars and all things mechanical. I see it firsthand every day. My classmates only care about stupid facebook, twitter, instagram, etc. Their image in the eyes of their peers is their main and only concern. I feel sorry for them, there's something really cool about knowing every single square inch of a car and understanding how all the systems and components work together like a symphony.
