No, nothing has changed, but with the event a few weeks away I felt like this was worth sharing again. I've seen a bunch of questions lately that are answered by a full reading of the rules.

Good luck, everybody!

I love the rule that 85 Buick Riviera's get to use their 60 foot times instead of the 1/4. Maybe we'll get under 15.

I've creativity edited them and printed them out so that it appears that every rule that I've broken had appeared to have been an official rule at my time of viewing.

In reply to cnp :

If your clutch breaks during normal use then yes you can with no penalty to budget.  If you are just plainly upgrading, then you have to include it.

The car had a bad clutch when purchased.

In reply to cnp :

If bad when purchased then it was a factor in the lower price you hopefully got and there for in the budget.

Rule quote under emergency repairs.

Parts may not be replaced at no budget impact under this rule if they were broken or heavily degraded when the car was purchased

Notice that the Violet rule doesn't help on a clutch either.

The Violet Rule (previously known as the Reese Rule): SFI-approved harmonic balancers, SFI-approved flywheels and SFI-approved flex plates are budget-neutral.
