I really really miss the challenge shirts with the year on them. Keep the price $2000 if you want, but please bring back dated shirts. Do a minimum run that you know will sell, then raise the price for the next 10 entries to cover small batch cost, etc...
Pretty please.

I agree. Even if they used the current shirts and put the year somewhere on it. Maybe limit the year shirts to early registers.

Okay, fair enough.
Question, do you want dated shirts, or do you want dated shirts for $10? One is way harder than the other.

In for a $10 dated Challenge shirt!
(I totally opted out of shirts at Challenge this year because I have plenty of normal GRM tees. Make the shirt commemorative and I will remedy the situation with a quickness.)
Date the shirts that are part of the entrant pack and roll the increased cost into registration.

Either would be acceptable to me. I'm easy.

Challenge shirt + sharpie = dated shirt
I feel like I have a zillion tee shirts. A limited run bumper sticker or even an iron on patch would be sweet though!

I joked with someone (Ian?) about letterman jackets. Maybe something more real world could be done.
What about a year stamp that is only available at the Challenge? There are inks that are made to last on clothing.
Something like this, but larger
Order a new one every year and way cheaper than custom shirts.

lol, most of my challenge shirts end up pretty raggedy. I wear them flat out.
In reply to KyAllroad :
That would be an option, too.

Get 10 stamps and your next Challenge is free! LOL
No need to use special ink, just stamp them with gear oil or similar.
Hell, I bet Tom could design and cut a stamp on his CNC.

Oh, I like that idea. That E36 M3 never comes out.
and my vote is for a font like this.

I'm picturing 1950's greaser hotrod club jackets, with patches & matching switchblade combs.
Could be as simple as a sticker like the Tail of the Dragon does every year.
