I got here early, so I checked in early. Staying at the host hotel, Rm 235.
About 15 years ago, the company I work for had a sales conference in (I think) Vegas. Someone made the mistake of telling a coworker what room he was staying in. When it was time to check out, he had a bar bill of about five grand or so because half of sales spent the whole week charging their drinks to his room. So I'm conditioned to keep my room number a closely guarded secret.
I should be leaving soon and hope to be down there by mid-afternoon tomorrow.

A whole new level of stalking and TMI!!
Called to hear Curtis' sexy voice ... but no one is picking up the phone in his room... though "Ebony" at front desk was overly helpful

Priorities, man
The room numbers would be more fun to know if CL personals were still a thing. Definitely a way to gain a competitive advantage if making the right calls Thursday night knowing that professional drivers aren't on hand for Friday.

Oh, he didn't *forget*...
Special event for Florida visitors, SpaceX has scheduled a Falcon 9 launch for 12:14 pm on Thursday, from Cape Canaveral. If the weather is clear, you should be able to see it from Gainesville. Launch Schedule
EDIT: Launch delayed. Now set for noon on Friday.

I think that will be inspirational. we can all lament the fact that it's faster than our challenge entries, but they spent $3 billion on theirs.
I think that we will all take a moment of silence at that time to show respect for the Challenge car connecting rods that have already been launched into low Earth orbit.
