Stay away. Those things are slow as molassas, and there is no aftermarket OR OEM support for them anymore. Go one gen newer for a Prelude Si in '86 or '87.

I got one of those a couple years ago. Bought it as a commuter because my 'vette was breaking down every other week...

Bought mine from a member here for $400, drove it for a year. Put a whole $32 into it for a master cyl. Turned out i didn't even need that. A brake line had rusted through. patched it and was good to go... It was super-duper rusty. Didn't have much time left on this earth... But it started every day and never let me down... Sold it for $200.

Probably the best automotive investment i've ever made...

Oh, and it was pretty fun to toss about. Light and agile. the definition of a "momentum car".

I dragged one home for free. Sold it for $100.

I had a '82 Civic last year, so I know slow as molasses, but it was still a really fun car. I don't think lack of hp should deter having a cool older beater. Just don't buy it expecting it to be a rocket in stock form. This is GRM, however, we race Yugos. What's stopping a little imagination and a H22 or B18 or the like? Ohhhhh or a Goldwing 6 or another bike engine

Come to think of it, driving the E36 M3 out of the little '82 Civic to keep up with traffic was a lot more exciting than daily driving a higher horsepower car.

Looks neat but I don't think I'd be willing to pay but half of the asking price. I wish engine swapping in early-mid 80s hondas was as plug and play as the newer chassis'. I would love an old honda sleeper.
