Replaced the ignition switch assembly, starts with a key now. Replaced the drivers door seal with new OEM one.
Got another car to pick up, so no reasonable offer, and perhaps even some unreasonable ones, refused!

Thank goodness you're all the way out there and I'm all the way over here. Considering one of these for my crop insurance adjusting gig. Capable off road, roomy inside, cheap, cheap, and inexpensive.....

Taking the insurance off soon, test drive it soon before you have to buy it before you get to drive over stuff.

Alright... i know these things have a horrible reputation.... but how bad has it been, really?
Would i hate life with this thing assuming i only cared about it getting me around in bad weather with a heater, not getting stuck, and being able to see where i'm going?
That is exactly how I have been using it. Its really no worse then similar vintage american trucks just harder to get/find parts, especially used.
The new serp belt got here today.
I will even think about filling the 22 gallon tank to sweeten the deal.
