Just checked my PayPal account and got a confirmation of the purchase with specifics via email from Overstock Auto.
Seems legit, something else that'll look great on the shelf. "Oh yeah, I got a Painless Kit for it. No other way to go . . . "
THANKS VW Freek ! ! ! ! ! !
Not as cheap as the first kit but here is a GM 18 circuit one from the same seller for $62.25 shipped.

The $62.25 one is showing two available.

Gone, that was fast!
However....

If you look in there, they've done this before with the Painless kits and did not honor price.
I think this is too good to be true. (just ordered 18 circuit harness to rewire 84 P30)

Mine order was just cancelled, and the money refunded.
eBay scammer said:
Greetings and thank you for your order. I am truly very sorry, but unfortunately my supplier is currently out of stock in this item. I was not informed that your order had been cancelled until I placed a request for status just now. I feel terrible that this has happened. I made sure to remove my listing immediately from my store.
I do not know when this item will be back in stock, therefore, I think the best course of action would be to refund your payment. I took the liberty of refunding your item through and canceling the order.
I am sincerely sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

And now my funds sit in limbo for 4 business days...
Should i call his bluff and let him know that i'm perfectly happy to wait until they come back in stock and/or ask why he kept adding additional stock to his listing(s) throughout the day?
If he just comes out and says that he messed up and set the pricing wrong... no harm no foul.
This explanation sounds fishy, though.

He had too many for sale at different prices for it to be an honest mistake. Could be an easy way to float a short term loan.
Double checked my PayPal account and email, still a go so far. Waiting for the hammer to fall . . . refund or harness, no biggie either way. Worth the twenty-five dollar gamble.
I might cry if this doesn't go through, actually.
MX6 needs to be totally rewired, and i really don't feel like sourcing every last piece separately, but can't pay full price for one of these kits.

I hope the rest actually go through.
Haven't got a email at all yet. Hoping it actually ships at this price. It's my Christmas present from Santa according to my wife.

I got a shipping confirmation from ebay on the $45 harness. A couple hours later I get a call from the company, they tell me there was a glitch in the system, I was sent a different item, and I should refuse the package when it arrives so it is returned to sender and they will refund my money. Should I open the package when it arrives to verify the story?
Dang, scammers gonna scam.

Since the ebay thing doesn't look like it's going to work out. Maybe this is a good option?

I'd report that to ebay. That's sketch as hell.

In reply to Swank Force One:
Yeah, it does sound a little sketchy. Maybe they actually sent me the wiring harness but don't want me to open the box to find out?
Possibly. I'd open that bad boy. If it's not what you ordered he gets to pay return shipping anyways.
Seems like there are many complaints of saying "sorry wrong price" then listing it as a higher price. Almost like they are wanting to see how much they can sell it for?
Also seems like quite a few complaints of selling an item then ordering it from Amazon and having it shipped to the buyer.
"I got a shipping confirmation from ebay on the $45 harness."
You didn't buy the $25 harness that you first posted about/began this thread over?
