Yeah PayPal can work, just looking for a few more depositors and I'll be #10.

Wait is that a request for money? Should I be sending you my deposit?
Not yet, but since you're willing to pay one I'll add you to the list of people willing to contribute to the deposit. Almost there now!
bigben, did you finish checking over the requirements?
Once we have 10 would-be depositors I'll PM my Paypal address to all of you and post the exact deposit amount needed here.
The most complete list available can be found if you combine the Requirements section of this event:
With their track policies here:
https://gorally.com/track-days/
Still just a tiny bit short on would-be depositors, I'm going to start harassing some of the deposit-curious via DM/email
Here's who I've got willing to contribute to the deposit so far:
I'm running out of excuses for ignoring this thread. I live an hour and 45 minutes away from the firm, and as of last week I own a car that I could track.
With well over 100 autocross events completed, many of them at the firm (including second in class at the State Championship), I wonder if I'm going to have to pay an extra $100 for an instructor.
I'm likely going to back out on this. I don't think my Challenge car is up to the task of a track day, plus I'm usually ready to get home and relax after Challenge weekend.
Was hoping to get at least one more depositor, but I'm thinking we may need to go ahead with the 9 we have, that would be about $145 from each person via Paypal. I'll DM/email everyone on the list by tonight.
Commiting to this track day means accepting the fact that I will bring my ND Miata instead of the Free Lotus Europa since it likely won't be ready yet. It feels too early for me to throw in the towel, even though that is the most realistic outcome.
Or, I commit to the track day because the Lotus will be SO DAMN READY that it could survive a track day. Yes, perfect, that's how I will sell this to my brain.
So, count me in if you need another deposit.

That would be ten, and I am number eleven.
So I've DMed or emailed (for those I already had email addresses for) info on the deposit payment and my "business" email connected to my PayPal to:
Let me know if you didn't get it.
In terms of layout, I was thinking maybe we could do the full course with shoebox for the first session, and then the full course without shoebox on the second? This will give your car a chance to fail on a lower-stakes layout before you go for the big-boy braking zone
