It's incredibly unlikely this would actually happen, but if someone where to win one of the many raffle/sweepstakes cars that youtube personalities give entries to by buying merchandise, could you get away with marking it at the cost of the t-shirt you bought? I thought this question had been brought up in the past, but couldn't find a thread.
Not that a 6 cylinder first gen Camaro would be competitive anyway, but it would be hilarious to bring it to the Challenge.
I'm pretty sure I remember it being asked and the answer was yes.
Is the answer yes if I win the C8 Corvette that i entered a raffle for with $25 of tickets?

I wonder if a C8 with Hoosiers and nitrous could do well enough on the dynamic scoring to make up for whatever it's likely to lose in the concourse?

I, being me, would argue that even if you bought 1000 tickets at $25 per ticket, your budget is only $25 because it is only the winning ticket that got you the car.
As noted previously, you can bring just about anything to the Challenge and run it in a non-budget class, and even compete for trophies and prizes in those classes.
I ran my Gen V Viper a couple of years ago, it was a lot of fun! So, bring a C8 if you can get your hands on one, I think we'd all love to see how it does.

No but a couple bonus points for the story and I think it would still be better off taking the "don't judge me" 13
Yes, and it had me tempted to run the xb (I still miss that car) at one point
