Not mine. Sounds like a neat car. Slightly over the limit ($2200), but he sounds negotiable.

NOT a 'busa engine. That is a normal ol G13B DOHC for the GT. Seller is an idiot that does not know what he has. They didn't make 'busas in 1993.

Sorry. I thought the guy had a '93 Swift with a later 'busa motor swapped in. Didn't mean to get everyone's hopes up.
That's still an uber fun (and getting uber rare) car. If I had the cash I'd buy it.... never know when you'll need a second Swift GT!
Note to self, don't let wife find ad. As much as I'd love to get my hands on it, I've got a Miata to get up and running first.
ohh god why do I love these cars so.....
Because they are friggin cool!
I think we start a "grassroots" movement to make the 89-94 GT the next E30/E36/Miata.... from this day forward, when anyone asks "what car" the answer will be METRO! I mean Swift!
Still kicking myself for selling mine.
I had a spare you coulda picked up cheap!

In his description he mentions it has an LSD. If this is accurate, it's a great deal since they tend to go for $1200+ just for the diff. I doubt it does, though.
^ Agreed. Especially with the "racing tach" and "oil guage".

Its probably a phantom grip if anything. They were the only thing you could get for a long time.

Pete....yah gotta read on...
'Busa motor costs too much due to it's legendary status. Lot of other way cheaper bike motors out there. Here's a bike engined Metro (Swift).

I am an inch away from trading my newest $250 mercury topaz for a turbo sprint. However, since i already have a Geo, i am having a hard time trading a car in good mechanical order for one with 300000k and a trashed interior. But teh boost!
Anyone local to this guy that could check it out for me?
The Miami Swift I posted originally? I will be in South Florida on Monday and Tuesday for work. I could probably hook up with the guy Monday evening. There may be other GRM'ers down there that could do it sooner.
If it's not out of your way terribly and you've got time... I'm not to the point of "HOLY CRAP I NEED THAT!!" but i am interested and have the funds to fly down and drive it back.
If it's completely road worthy i'd give a 50/50 chance of me purchasing.
