Hey everyone,
I need help with a FMV for the th400 I plan on using. I have a good th400 core laying around that I think I paid $75-100 for a while back. Is everyone ok with using $100 for the FMV price?
it will probably need to be gone over and I will be putting a shift kit in it.
thank you!
$100 for sure. As a core, I thing $50 may even be acceptable. Seconds?
I paid Patrick $60 for a BOP. Is it a 2wd Chevy?

Also you know there's a free manual valve body mod right?
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
Yes. 2wd Chevy fixed yoke
In reply to Stampie (FS) :
yes. I'll probably do the crankshaft coalition mods.
In reply to jmill144 :
The best way to do FMV is say I think it's worth X can I get 5 of you people to agee. Sounds like you are saying $100. If so I'm good. Think it's more than fair.
I paid $100 for my last supposedly good fixed yoke chevy pattern one. It was good
In reply to jmill144 :
$100 is more than fair unless it's a Jaguar then the price goes down to $50.
Thanks everyone.
just need one more "yay" for $100 and I'll be good.
Well, I bought a TH350 for $80, so $100 sounds good to me.
Now what's this free manual valve body mod thing?
In reply to DeadSkunk (Warren) :
The yay's have it then...thanks.
mods are here for the 400, they do have a wiki for the 350 as well

I know I'm late to this party but I wish they $100 anymore... last one I got was free from Patrick, but I still search and they are 250-up now for cores. It's $200 for just a chevy case.
If they were, I'd have another storage unit full of just cores...
They're still hidden out there - we got our TH400 for free, it had been sitting on a shelf for 25 years and the pan was literally full of mud - we have it down as the average of three local junkyard core values, about $30
