TR-7. Worth all the trouble?

for that price, it could be worth it...buy an intake manifold and a webber, you are good to go...fairly reliable...I never had any electrical issues with mine, just "previous owner was a dip E36 M3" problems.

It's been a long time, but I did see a TR7/302 swap. I didn't take a good enough look to see how well it was done. The guy was an idiot, so he probably didn't do the work. I was driving a 240Z with 350SBC at the time, he bragged too much, and then proved his was slower than mine. I don't do much of that anymore.

It's gone.

for anyone interested I have everything needed to swap in an SBC or a 231 Buick V6...as well as Koni shocks....you know, for the handlings...

I emailed the seller, lets see what he says. The first posting with no pics has been closed, the other is still there.

The canvas sunroof is also rare to actually be in GOOD working order. One could easily turn one of these into a TR-8 with a Rover V8. My friend Todd(he is a GRM member) has maybe 10 TR-7/8's I think he has a TR-7 convertible right now that he is selling,and it looks way better than that one. He lives about a mile from Me 914Driver,and you know where that is.

Both are still on the market, someone called on the '77 but money talks. This one I'm interested in is going for $400, is Todd's that inexpensive?

Actually I have no idea what he would want for it,but I bet it isn't that cheap.
