Not if the BiTurbo hasn't been registered since 1994.
Oh god, what am I getting myself into?
Buckets of win and crates of awesome I hope.
I like the XR, but it is just to... "mainstream" for me.

Haha, the XR4ti mainstream! Most people don't know what one is and can't pronounce Merkur.
Yet, I totally get what you're saying and agree.
Will deliver for cost of food+fuel+way home (wife could follow me in her Subaru for a reasonable distance)
I somehow forgot to type Subaru in there.
Meaning out to about to Dallas/Houston/Laredo I'd have her follow me to deliver.
You should try to find a Rover SD1 (I saw one on e-bay in arizona one time). At least engine parts would be cheaper than the maserati stuff, and it would certainly be unusual.

I've actually been on the prowl for a SD1 for years. I've never actually seen one in person. The neat shape of the Sterling 827SLi, but with RWD V8 goodness.
The SD1 is WAY better looking than a Sterling. Very nice cars when they're running properly, but hard to find on this side of the pond.
