It should be yours, and then you should take it down to the Import Alliance April 17th meet.
Every fanboi will cream themselves.
A coworker of mine just sold his 92 Integra sedan for 5000 dollars because he had done similar modifications...

Sheeeeeit... I was getting offers of $3300 before the last round of work on my MX6.
Wonder if i should go that route, going by the ratio on that Integra. My car should be worth at least $7000 rusty, right?
Whats really funny is I bet 5 years ago, that thing was painted electric orange and had a tripledecker evoXXX combat r34 style bodykit.
Its stuff like this that prevented me from buying a Civic for a long time. I don't want to be associated with anything this retarded.

And this is at least better than that ^^^.
Interior is kinda bizarre (animal skin, BMW?, weird lump at top right), but I quite like the grenade shifter.
Flagged! Too bad, as I wanted to see it.
As for the "look", while it may not be to my tastes, I'm happy to see anyone interested in cars. It seems to be a little bit of a dying culture.

seconded.
but hey, at least he did somethign different with it!
and he didn't ruin that camber and risk the disappointment of the most interesting man in the world

I think i'd rather he have ruined the camber. Did you see the wheel and tire size?
165/45-15 on 15x8 diamond racing wheels.
im cornfused, I thought only veedub herrafrush kids did that mornonic acid washed paint scheme crap...and whats up with the sucide doors? that mod is about a decade late isnt it? must be a leftover from the neon underbody mods that civic undoubtedly suffered in the early '00s

HAHAHAHAH 8" wheels? I'm sorry but I have to retract my earlier statement. didn't see the ad before it was taken down so I didn't know about that. He didn't ruin the camber because the tires would have been rubbing pulleys if he did lol and how does one stretch 165's onto an 8" wheel? lol
i think someone should buy it and put the poor thing out of it's misery.
Shoot it, alot, and film it for youtube.
you can even make a little artsy film by putting a cig in the grille and lining up before it (like 10 people) and all shooting simultaneously, french execution style.
Sue me, but I think rust, from an aesthetic standpoint, is beautiful. An interesting and appealing organic palette of colors.
I know a guy who builds custom steel furniture that has various chemicals to turn various steels into various flavors of rust, which he then shoots an incredibly thick layer of clearcoat (something he calls 'permalac,' dunno if that's a brand or what) to preserve. Very cool stuff.
However, intentionally rusting a modern car seems pretty disingenuous. Rust seems like something that should be either (a) combatted or (b) earned and embraced.
And yeah, it seems pretty ghey in the context of this Civic.

I'm with you. The rust was the least of my beefs with the car. I've given more than passing thought to "rusting" my car if i must be honest.
Yeah, it's still forced, but i figure after 21 years, it "deserves" to be rusted if i want it to be. By the time the self-inflicted rust becomes a problem, it'll be time to put the motor into something Right Wheel Drive, anyways.

Glad I'm not alone. I think my truck ('88 GMC 1500) would look pretty great/mean rusted and dropped.

By far the funniest thing I saw all day. And it's probably funnier than anything I will see tomorrow, too.

I've got the dropped taken care of already.... i've been known to high-side on speed bumps.
I'd just have to decide what to do with the plastic trim and wheels. I was thinking black for the trim/bumpers, and purple for the wheels.
