They pretty much all need engines. They suck in pieces of pre-cat and also screws from the intake butterflies. That tears up the cylinders causing them to burn oil.
In other words, they're Nissans. (Or as I call them, the Chrysler of the Japanese world)
Replacement engines are a mere Altima away!
