1959 metropolitan. 4 cyl. 3 speed. Needs restoration. Runs and drives on its own power. No brakes needs brake master cylinder. It was originally a hardtop and someone cut the roof off and made a convertible. They did a good job. No convertible top but there is a custom tonneau cover. Seats have been all re done. Drivers side fender and floor has rust. Floors have been patched with the sheet metal. Frame rails look good.
This is a real cool project car. Would make a sweet rat rod!
$1600 or trade

If it was a real convertible I would be in sooo much trouble with the wife when she gets home from her business trip.

I searched "break" and "brake". I find a lot of good deals by intentionally misspelling stuff in the search bar.
But what I was looking for was a break on a brake...
Also excellent for setting speed records at Bonneville....with a few mods of course.

I prefer something more discreet.

Good Lord. With the stock wheels and sausage casings, er um tires, that is akin to putting a 350 in a golf cart.
