This is highish for a non-running/needs rust repair to quarters car, but $1,000? I've seen "decent"/running 6 cylinder Rancheros selling on CL for $2500...and more.

If I were buying a Ranchero, this is the model (a '66 with V8 and manual transmission) I would want. Stupid me, back when I lived in Texas and threw ALL my spare cash at potential projects, I just missed picking up my landlord's twin to this car. Of course, that would have been when it was 15 years old and not nearly 40 years old.

They have mowing around that car for some time and it is sitting in moist ground in NC, write off those floorboards, they are gone.
