1974 Fiat X1/9 $1100

I'm selling my X1/9 project. In a former life it was a dedicated Solo car. The car is in a lot of pieces right now as I was repairing the rust. Lot's of goodies on with the car: dual weber DCNF's,13 x 7 revolution wheels, long tube header, etc. See post on Xweb here that has a lot more details. I've got about $4500 in the project right now, asking $1100.

I didn't see it in a quick scan, but does it have the 1300 or 1500 engine?

I remember this car from the old board. It looks so cool with those wheels.

Sorry, 1300. It's strong 1300 though. I don't know what it has done internally but it pulls nicely.

The car really looked great in red with the gold wheels. In the before pictures you couldn't tell there was any rust damage.

Yeah, the pics made it look great. The rust wasn't terrible, just minor stuff that was poking through on the exterior of the rockers and bottoms of front fenders. Since I had a MIG I decided to exorcise all tin worm and repaint.

Agreed. Looked like a fine specimen in those pics. Hope it goes to a good home.

I wanted to add a small update. Today I repaired the windshield channel rust. I posted some pics on Xweb here for those who might be interested. That's pretty much the last of the rust that needed to be fixed. I'll have whole-car outdoor pics tomorrow.

4 speed.
