Literally 2 minutes down the road from me. Dude has a ton of 944s too.

Hmmm, $1413 left for Subbie power, box flares, and some sticky rubber.

What is that Item above the flexible tube over the wheel well in the 2nd picture? It's holding that battery hold down/bolt up keeping it from crashing through to the ground. I've never seen a 914 with one of those. Looks factory but I've not seen evidence that they had anything there.

That is a drain tube, should be bolted to the body with a funnel end under the engine cover. It drains water that collects in the engine cover tray. More useless 914 trivia.

I think he meant the battery tray. As in, every 914 he's seen has had the tray rusted out completely. Took me a second of staring at the picture then I lol'ed.

I've seen 3-4 "rust free" 914's that the battery resided in the trunk because that corner of the engine bay basically dissapeared. Realy nice condition cars that that part just seemed to melt.

That one seems nice if I was in a different place in my project list I would probably be headed to Atlanta.

The hell hole looks pretty good. That's the nicest $600 914 I think I've ever seen.

Looks like the hell hole was repaired at some point, but it does look pretty solid.

I'll gladly go look if anyone's interested. I drove by yesterday and didn't see it. Maybe I should send him an email asking if it's still available.
