SOLD

Basics: 1975 MGB, not running, engine disassembled, rust on floor boards and frame rails. $150-300 (see below)

Pictures: MGB Pictures

Details: I have for your buying pleasure a 1975 MGB roadster. I bought this car in college in non running condition. I was able to get it started and drove it around the yard, but it had gas in the oil and low compression. I dissasemled the engine intending to rebuild it and then lost interest in the project. I think the engine is from an earier year, but its been a while since I looked up the numbers. There is some rust in the floor boards and the seats will lift the floor when pushed forward. There is also some rust on the frame rails. The top is missing, the interior is mostly complete, but in rough shape. There is a softball size dent on the driver front fender and there are various scrapes and scratches from the last 40 years.

I think this would make a great challenge car for someone with more skills than I have. I thought about putting a rotary in it, but then realized I don't have the tools or skills to do it right.

Location:Everything except the engine is at my parent's house in Havana, FL (Tallahassee). The engine is disassembled and in my garage in Cumming, GA (Atlanta)

Price: SOLD

Car:$200, $150 if you promise to put a rotary in it.

Engine: Free if you buy the car, $50 by itself.

Transportation: I can get the car to Atlanta or the engine to Tallahassee for $100. Delivery elsewhere can be discussed, but it needs to be a day trip or less.

Trades: Trade interests include a running 1.6 Miata engine, running or non-running rotary engines, or an RX7 project.
