If you were closer, I'd have a look. Solid coupes are getting very hard to find.

Especially in Ohio.

I drive past one on my way to work every day. It hasn't moved since I first saw it 4 years ago.

Sounds like a parts-car.

Parts-car + rust-free car + 13b = ??

It's about 3 hours from me or I'd go get some more info on it for you.

Last Summer I drove 403 miles to go pick up a $600 TR7 coupe shell near Rochester NY. Tack on another $150 in fuel and tolls, plus 17 hours of driving, loading, and BSing with the seller. Three weeks later I bought a $400 rotted out TR8 over the phone from an estate auction in just about the same location. That one was only 391 miles away, and the round trip took 13.5 hours. Wish I had known about the second one when I picked up the first one. After selling off the spares, I'm still ahead, plus I have a solid shell, and a bunch of unobtanium TR8 pieces.

I could walk to where it is.

Motors are usually the least of your worries with these.

You'll need to log in to post.
