As the title says, the Columbus OH pick-n-pull has a couple interesting cars in the yard right now.

They have a 1980 Fiat Spider that's an automatic; it's complete minus the dash clock (sorry, couldn't help myself). The top is cut up so the interior is pretty rough and is housing an ant colony.

They also have a 1978 Porsche 928 that's a manual. The manual 928's are rare enough that I think you could make some good money by pulling the parts and posting them on eBay/etc. Same with some other parts like the window motors, etc. The body looks terrible. (bad paint job and bad bondo I think) I would pull parts and sell them but I've got a large cache of stuff to sell already so it doesn't make sense for me to do so. Or if you need these parts, all the better!

This is the junk yard on Groveport Rd south of 104. Fixed prices on parts, so when you're getting parts for a Porsche it's pretty good. Not so good for GM parts!

That would be awesome!! But sadly this yard is one that won't sell cars once they hit the yard itself. They try to sell good ones prior to them hitting the yard, but the yard is a one way death sentence. I was especially sad about that when I spotted a 5.0HO swapped Volvo 740. That was a tough car to walk away from.

ok, fine just get the 928 drivetrain and we'll pop it in the MG then.

I see fiat spiders pretty much everytime I go to pick and pull. The auto ones have a different engine than the normal ones though, I have only seen one ever.

I have been to that yard. My challenge engine came from that yard. I also tried buying the 5.0 Volvo but they would not sell, body even looked OK. There prices are good especially on the days of sales but they don't seem like friendly people and will not help you move an engine from the back of the yard to the front and there cherry picker is very hard to drag through the yard by youself with an engine on it.
