Technically correct - they are all superchargers. Some are belt-driven and others use the exhaust. In WWII they were called turbo-superchargers.

Maybe they were called turbo super chargers in 1942 but also in 1983 they called a gmc jimmy a "truck station wagon", should we still call all suv's truck station wagons?
