"1985 dodge Omni Glh Turbo. T2 87 Lancer engine. New 525 trans. New Fwd Performance stage2 computer. new starter, motor mounts, hall effect pickup. Ive owned car for 3 years and it can be a blast to drive. Its been sitting for the last year. Have started and run it every week. It needs a tune up. I just dont have the time to spend to get it tuned back to spec. If you know any thing about these cars you know they can be faster than any stock mustang or camaro. Its a rare car. Its the father to the Neon Srt4. Car has run 14's at commerce on street tires and 14psi of boost. Only run 7psi unless at track. I have about $3000 total in the car. Needs to go. I have too many cars! $1200 obo. "

Atlanta is the mecca for anything you've ever wanted.
Other than the possibility of being fast (when it actually runs) I don't think those cars are a very good choice. The shelby charger i had was pretty terrible, and even the GLHS my dad bought new had quite a few rides on a tow truck.
Man, that is a challenge special. I bet you can get it for under 1000. Throw in a few hundred for suspension, cheap performance bits and a cage and you'll be a contender. Plus, you can spank Mustangs and mullet-mobiles all day long in a 4 cylinder, 4-door Dodge.
If anyone actually buys it, i have factory service manuals i would sell, plus a couple boxes of parts that I would sell for the cost of shipping and packaging.
