For what it's worth, this is one of the VERY FEW turbo cars that are ST legal.
If it was closer, that'd be my ST project right there.

Argh. That's a little rich for a non-runner. Love the car, though.
Is there any chance one could find parts for this car? If the computer is gone(electrical problems mentioned),can one be sourced?

I really don't know the answer to that question. I wonder how much of this drivetrain is shared with the Capri XR2. The answer could be none, but the dudes on ClubProtege would know.

Yeah, parts are still out there. Check Car-part.com for the ECU. They pop up from time to time on various forums, too.
It aint' no honda for parts, but it's not quite dead yet.

To me, these are great cars. I had a GTX and with this car you get some of the good stuff (the engine, seats, etc) that are in the GTX, but avoid some of the hard to find and easily broken parts (4wd drivetrain, trans, weird gas tank with crossover pump) etc. Yeah, it's not AWD, but these are supposedly faster in a straight line than the GTX.

I am now on the prowl for one of these, but preferably closer, or in condition good enough for a long trip.
