Anyone know if this "DL" trim was FWD or AWD?
In reply to accordionfolder:
I believe it is the FWD version. The AWD had a push button on the shift knob that activated the rear diff

That one is FWD.
Should also have the dreaded vacuum controlled injected carb thingy.
If someone wants a pair, I've got a 2nd one a couple hours down the road. (not as good condition- $500)
That looks clean.
But the similarity between this and the Ford Festiva is certainly there. Did Ford buy this car from Subaru and rebadge it?

They look similar but are totally different. The Ford Festiva is actually a rebadged Kia that was also sold as the Mazda 121 in some markets, while the Subaru is just, well, a Subaru.
Having driven both, I'm sad to admit that the Festiva is a much better car. Justys redefine the word "flimsy," parts are scarce, and they are not much fun to drive.

In reply to drainoil:
No. The Festiva was designed and developed entirely by Ford.
They are the same wheelbase, but the Justy is 5 inches longer, and about 1.5" narrower. The Justy is aka the Metro, the Sprint, and the Swift (among others). Festiva had a 1.4L 4 cyl, Justy had a 1.0L 3 cyl.

I think the Festiva was designed by Mazda, Built by Kia and sold by Ford, Mazda and Kia

The Justy was designed and built solely by Subaru from 1984-1994, Subaru EF engine and all, sharing nothing with the Metro, Sprint, or Swift. Not sure where you got that info? Beginning in late 1994 the rest of the world got a rebadged Cultus (aka Swift) but we never saw it in the U.S.
dabird is right as well, Mazda designed the Festiva/121/Pride, Kia built them, and all three companies began selling them in 1986.

Whoops. Brainfart.
My point was Ford didn't buy the Festive from Subaru. Should have stopped there.
