not mine...

This is my family car. Good for snow, ice, mud, rain and ready for any hill climb with the SL (Super Low) 1st gear. Alot of RPM. A whole lotta miles too.... SPECS: 1.6 fuel injected 4 cylinder, 6-speed manual transmission, 17 IN. RACING Rims with almost new set of tires. 4 Inch Custom exhalst. Tinted windows. Full size spare tire. Plus, it's a 4 by 4! most likely sounds no different than not having a muffler there at all. My 4afe sounded almost no different when I for fun started it up without the axleback portion of its exhaust (removed and remounting aftermarket muffler hangers so it didnt hit the bumper). The muffler basically kept the exhaust pipe from "wjistling" as it vibrated in certain points of the RPM range. The harmonics from not having the additional mass caused an odd whirrrrrr sound at the end of the open exhaust. fun, but uninspiring (was expecting some open header noise!...shoulda known better)

Apparently the wagon had a 6-speed available with a super low gear.

Not apparently. Actually. The superlow gear was good to about 10mph. Could bark all four if you revved it and popped the clutch. Once I put a ZC in mine, barking all four in "normal" 1st gear was easy.
