I've got an '89 LX that I was planning on prepping for BABE, GRM, LeMons & Chump, but the quadfecta of crap is not going to be in my reach in the next 10 years unless my son decides he likes wrenches as well as dinosaurs I need to clear out some garage space, so if someone is looking for an incredible deal on a sub $1K car, here you go :) It's a 4 cyl. 5 speed car, motor is DOA, looks like it has dropped a valve. I have a spare 4 plug motor as well as 2 spare 8 plug motors that are good according to P.O.'s. Also a spare auto that is attached to one of the 8 plug motors. Wiring harness & ECU for 8 plug car, spare front fenders, spare doors, spare hood, spare hatch, spare GT rear spoiler, ARP extended lug studs, some miscellaneous bushings, GT brakes & springs, assorted Foxbody & SN95 parts that are laying around in my shop, including the bellhousing that I think is necessary to bolt up a V8 to this tranny. Aftermarket sawblade type wheels on it, set of 14" turbines with no tires, Esslinger header that needs a broken stud or 2 fixed, lower intake that has been polished with an adapter to convert to carb. I've got some miscellaneous race rubber laying around that I'll include, some Azenis, I think some Proxes, not sure what else. My plan was to run it as an N/A car to get started, then eventually turbo, add boost until it blew, dial back boost and put in another motor :D With all the extra goodies included, you'll be under the $1000 mark for your budget unless you go extremely wild. Everything is there body wise except for headlights, they got removed for my friend's Chumpcar.

Will consider trades involving roll bar for an NA, bolt in cage for FC RX-7, labor to swap motors in my '86 RX-7 (one in it now has no compression on the rear rotor, got another 13b to drop in), hard top for a Miata, nice set of wheels (16" or 17") for an '06 3/4 ton silverado, good T56, heck, who knows what else

If I had a 280z I probably would I'm just trying to get a little more than scrap value out of all of this stuff and hopefully help somebody go racing since I don't have the time to do it myself

What kind of 5 speed is it? T9 or T5? if it's a T9, would you consider selling it separate?

It's most likely a T9, as far as I know it's the factory transmission. I'd rather not pull it out of the car and leave the car without a transmission. If you and Aeromoto want to split the engines & transmission, I'll pull it and load the three good engines & transmission up and I can meet you somewhere. He's in Auburndale, so still ~200 miles from you, but that's ~350 miles closer than me I could meet someone on I-75 somewhere and do a handoff, just pay for the fuel to cover my trip & I'm happy.
