Pretty clearly x29,742 point 8 on my screen, where x = 1, or 2, or – who knows? – conceivably even 3.

That's what I was thinking. I can't see one of those making it to 329k.
Is that an SHO+? It has the raised hood.... hmmm
Edit: NVM, I see the hood pins. It's clearly an aftermarket hood.
Add on edit, until 1992.....these had 5 digit Odo's.

There are a few guys approaching 500k on theirs.......lack of routine maintenece is what kills these.....its an aftermarket hood, most likely a cincysho brand fiberglass.
If someone picked this up, I'd sell them a suspension setup I proved to work surprisingly well for autoxing for cheap.
That is awesome. I have wanted a 5 speed SHO for a long time. That hood is deeply unfortunate, though.
And you know, I always thought I should say S-H-O until they reintroduced them a couple years back and the young douchebag in the commercial kept saying "SHO" like "show".
I did just buy shiny new snow tires for the Neon, but two fun five speed "sport" sedans never hurt anyone, right?
In reply to Lugnut:
gen 1/2 are S-H-O......"show" for short. But, the gen 3(96-99) and gen 4(2010-present) have always been referenced as "SHOW" by the old guard.

Maybe first instincts are right. . . color matched wheels and Taurus logo. . . there were also "partial pluses" too.
The want is strong, but money hungry Yamaha motor scares me.
