This may not be the best Challenge candidate (unless you add LSx), but it would make a good daily driver. Not mine, but it lives at my shop. Need the proceeds to finance Challenge efforts!

Car is in decent shape and runs well. Brake lines have been replaced, new fuel pump, 140K miles. Will sell to GRMers for $1900.
4.3 or 3.4 engine? Thought I would ask.
Hint: Spinout's trying to give you a hint.
Doh! A little slow on the uptake! Like I said, it's not mine, and I really haven't paid that much attention to it. The 4.3 must really be rare!! Must be worth a lot more!

I think you need to take another look under the hood at the engine.
I believe they only came with 3.4l V6 (mid year switched to 3.8) or the 5.7l V8.

1995 Chevy Camaro Engine
6-207 (3.4L, VIN "S")
8-350 (5.7L, VIN "P")
6-231 (3.8L, VIN "K")
95 was both 3.4 and 3.8. only year that way. Uncle had the 3.8, friend had the 3.4.
