Just like the topic says, my 1995 Honda Civic DX is on the choppin' block now. It is a 4-door, 1.5 SOHC (non-V-tec), automatic car. The car shows 195,xxx on it, but the speedo and odo only work sometimes; could be 495,xxx for all I know for sure but it surely doesn't drive like it. Car is "no sale" blue; paint is good, but there is a dent in each front fender (not too bad). The driver's side dent could be massaged in a few minutes, I think. The trans. shifts like it should. I replaced a rear wheel bearing yesterday. The car has had a recent head gasket change, but the timing belt had supposedly been changed recently and it looked good upon inspection, so it wasn't changed when everything went back together. The tires are nearly-new Kumhos. The passenger side mirror points at the ground and will not adjust. All the glass is good, the seats aren't ripped, there is a nice CD player in it, and the thing gets almost a bigillion miles to the gallon. Well, that is what is feels like to me because my normal DD has an 8100 Vortec in it......... Price is $1800, but I will negotiate............a lot. I have a clean title in hand. It is a Georgia car, so there is no rust. I would not hesitate to let my daughter drive is to college (when she gets to that stage, that is). Delivery could be available. I am a tradin' type o' guy, too.

The car is in Covington, GA, just east of Atlanta.

My dad owned on of those. What a turd of a car.

That being said, my broke college student brother at Clemson is looking for a car. Can you shoot me a couple pictures and let me know how much is a lot of negotiation room.

Yeah, man, I can do that. My e-mail address is lesburchett@yahoo.com. Send my yours e-mail addy and I'll send you some pics. A lot of negotiation room is: I have nothing in it, but would like to get something out of it. I am in the midst of a Challenge build and need parts (wheels, tires, and beer to be exact).

Sent you an email. What bolt pattern and size are you looking for?

Honestly, John, my biggest expense on the car will be the wheels/tires. I have to have a custom offset/bolt pattern for the back (13x9 w/ 4.5" back spacing and 5x4.5" bolt pattern). The front has the 4x98 bolt pattern, but I was able to find some Diamond wheels for that (13x7); I paid too much for them (almost new price), but they looked nice, I had them immediately, and I didn't have to pay shipping.
