1996 Neon "Base" Sedan. Shell has ~160k miles. Lunched the SOHC a few years ago, and stated piecing together a reliable setup as a DD to eventually become a Chumpcar. Got kicked out of my storage unit and I no longer have the room. The rundown:
1996 Sedan. Shell in very good shape. One small spot of rust behind LR Door. Hood/bumper has various rock chips. Small scuff/ding on RR Quarter Panel. Engine bay is rust free (around strut towers). I was the second owner. Maintinence log from PO. AC system was new when I purchased it (did not disassemble/evac system when engine was removed).
1996 SOHC block - .020 over
.020 over, NPR DOHC pistons + rings (2 sets) to bump compression
NIB reman crank w/King bearings
NIB FelPro Master Gasket Set (MLS Headgasket)
NIB Felpro head bolts
NIB Gates water pump
NIB Gates mechanical timing tensioner
NIB continental timing belt
NIB inner timing cover for Mech.tensioner
NIB EGR delete
Head was a reman replaced by PO. Unknown mileage, but is off for inspection.
AEM adjustable cam gear
Modern Performance underdrive pulley
NIB Reman PT Cruiser (higher-amperage) Alternator
Stock single fans replaced with dual fan setup
Engine harness has covering removed to replace w/nomex or other covering.
Good stock 3.55 manual transaxle.
PO replaced aforementioned AC system, new exhaust, and new quick struts
Interior in great shape. Needs a wipe-down, but no rips/tears/cracks
15" "Bubble" wheels off of 98 ACR included w/dead Kumho Ecstas
15" Steel wheels included with new tires that were replaced by PO
Booger shift bushings
Prothane engine mount inserts
Neongoodies solid bobble strut (engine torque damper)
Needs: Engine assembled + installed, Clutch (have flywheel), new flywheel bolts, new rod bolts, oil pump, radiator.
Could be ACR-spec if you picked up a 3.94 trans, 16:1 rack (have a line on one if needed), rear sway bar, and rear discs (make literally no difference in braking performance).

This is sitting in my driveway, and I really need to get it out before snow flies.
Asking: $1800 obo - Honestly, I'm spitballing here. Just shoot me an offer, I need it gone. Also willing to trade for LG Headers for C5 or other LSx parts.
