My parents just bought a new car to replace the minivan they've had since 1996. It's probably best as a parts or powertrain donor. Has crash damage to the left side from where it was hit pretty good. 3.4 liter v6, auto trans, both solid as far as I know. HVAC system in it is inop, along with dash lights and radio backlight. At this point, they just want more than the tax deduction the kidney car people are offering. Must take the whole van - my parents are not mechanically capable enough to part out.
