1998 astro conversion van. 4 seats.
i bought it last week, it was running rough but had hoped it was bad gas. ran it to E and put 14 gals of new gas in, didn't help much.
just got done with tuneup. it helped a ton but it's still not running completely smooth and is still throwing the p0300 multiple cylinder misfire code. it is driveable as is, i drove it around just now. at this point i do not have time to chase the source of the code and misfire, i was hoping for a quick fix for backup since the avalanche is about to spit the transfer case out from under it and i'm getting ready to put a new engine in the saab.
also i have ordered a new driver's outer door handle and deleted the oil cooler due to a leaky line. it runs quiet, the steel brake lines are all new from master cylinder to abs pump to wheels. has 50-60% pads on front and stops fine.
it will need tires at some point soon. if you bring 4 15" tires for it, you can pull the wheels in my driveway and i'll mount/balance them for you. rear hatch popper needs replaced, and sometimes the heater blower doesn't come on. it did once today and didn't another time.
i'll throw in my stash of astro extras including but probably not limited to a very good radiator and an extra rear door handle.
