This is mine. We've owned it about 5-years and it's been a good van until recently. My step-son has been driving it for the last 1-1/2 years, and it's done well for him until it acted up last month.
It has almost 160kmi on it, loaded with leather, power everything, separate rear heat, CD changer, moonroof, etc. Other than the squeaks, clunks, and rattles of something with that many miles, there aren't many problems: The high-beams seem to have a relay going out(however, the manuals & parts stores do not show a relay exists), you can hear the buzzing from down in the center console. There is some rust forming around the doors & openings, but it's still very solid underneath. Has very good tires on it(one is brand-new).
The main problem is that it will start when cold, but as it warms up it starts running worse and worse, until it eventually dies. I've replaced the MAF with no change. I have a gut feeling it's either fuel related, or a plugged cat, but it's too damn cold for me to really troubleshoot, nor do I really have the time, and there are no local mechanics I can take it to(and my truck is still broke, so I can't haul it anywhere ).
Anyway, a smaller car would be better for him, so I think it's just time to let this one go cheap, and find something better for him.
First $750 gets it. Plan on bringing a trailer, but it will run long enough to get it onto it. Would be interested in a good, reliable commuter with an automatic, as well.
I can take a couple pics if anyone is interested.
