Mint condition, only driven on sundays by a little old lady. Needs nothing. Drive it home today!

Happy yester-april fools! I would be willing to part with it for the right offer. Clear title, sandblasted about 10 years ago to prep for chem dip. Had a non-sunroof roof panel installed at some point.

Hell, for $2010 you can have one of the jacks pictured (not the transmission jack) and everything in the car. There's a set of caprice valances with lights, a cracked miata oil pan, 944 front swaybar, and lots of other goodies piled up in there.

I know I am a day late for this deal but would you be willing to throw in the trash can too?

Yeah, like that buy without the goofy autox setup.

I love that car, despite the fact that I destroyed the transmission in it a few years ago. I was only driving it because my car died on the track. It was not a good day for cars or me.

You should put the Cadillac grille on the front of the P-car...

In reply to Woody:

My shop was a dance studio for little girls at one point. The rabbit is wearing a unitard with Olympic rings on it. All of my electrical outlets are 10' off the ground as well.

So I'm really curious as to what the story is behind this. Aborted project, given to you by the little old lady, an old playhouse for the dance studio, what...?

Back in the day I worked at a shop that built Porsche race cars. I've now sort of inherited that shop and am in the process of trying to start it back up. This was going to be our shop race car and demo car or whatever. Something pretty to sit in the office next to the desks and for us to take to the track when we didn't have to haul a customer car. Unfortunately the shop went under right about the time we got done stripping it.

So now I'm in some warehouse space with lots of old memories. I'm slowly cleaning the shop up when I have time, trying to organize all this stuff. I moved everything over here in one weekend mostly by myself so there's lots of piles of things that need sorted. It doesn't help that I'm also helping my dad with his business and I still do computer "consulting" as well. And I just had a kid. I'm spread pretty thin these days...

I snapped a few pics to really show what a mess it is:

Here's a better view of the rainbow

The other side of the back of the shop and my GTI

More mess and the alignment rack that still needs to be set up

Bikes and a big pile of what used to be very expensive stuff. One of those boxes has about 20 porsche four pot brake calipers, another has a disassembled g50, carb setups, windows, interior bits, all buried. It's intimidating to even get started going through it all. Most of it will end up on ebay or various forums.

Highlights in this area include some powerdercoated intake manifolds, a high butterfly mechanical injection setup, the red boxes are new mahle piston/cylinder sets for various engines, a few sets of knife-edged cranks and rods, and all sorts of other porsche stuff. Enough parts to build at least 3-4 engines with lots of spares. Corner weight scales in the corner next to a stack of brand new 930 brake rotors.

A closer view

The other shelf. Stock 930 intercooler, several sets of race headers and megaphones, more intake manifolds, more piston/cylinder sets, various wheel spacers, one of the lower shelves has a bunch of old bimmer ECUs.

There's also two semi trailers packed to the gills with more shop stuff. I don't know if I'll be able to get them or if they even still exist, but I don't have room anyway. They've been in storage somewhere for a decade now, cared for by a guy that's no longer a friend. I'm sure he's sold off most of it by now. I know there was a set of 3 peice HRE fuchs style wheels, at least a dozen other sets of 911 wheels, a full set of carbon fiber bodywork for the '69, fresh 2.2 and 2.7 race motors, yet even more engine parts, all sorts of stuff worth money I don't even want to think about.

It's sort of embarrassing to have customers here, or even show it to a bunch of people on the internet. We used to have a seriously state-of-the-art race shop and I don't know if I'll be able to get there again.

nah it's my 250. Unfortunately my half ass rebuild with all used parts left me with no compression on one cylinder, I'll have to pony up for some new rings.

That GS1000 supposedly has a 1350 kit in it. I still need to track down an ignition box and un-freeze the carbs, amongst other things. I guess it's an absolute monster, but with tags from 83 I doubt the PO remembers all that well.
