I dont understand why really, but they are worthless in California. You almost never see them anymore except in pick and pull, but even nice ones are rarely over $2k.
I really want it, but shipping cost will probably be a deal breaker.

My 5.6SEL AMG sold to California, was impounded and crushed so I understand that. Mine was one of 53 made and it made no difference. That mentality bothers me.
I can only imagine what car I would own if I loved in the land of cheap and plentiful euro and classic metal..
Yeah, I dont understand why no one here likes w126s. I have had mine for almost 2 years and it seems like a really well made car. If I had any way buy the one in the OP I would, I like the Lorinser cars a lot. I have a few lorinser parts for mine I took from a wrecked 500se in pick and pull a year or so ago too.
I would pounce if it was a LOT closer, I have a lot of love.

My favorite big coupe. Luckily for my marriage it's on the wrong coast.
It looks like someone is buying it, I hope so. I would have if I had the money. Speaking of seeing those in the junkyard, there was another 500sec euro in pick and pull last time I went, its been at least 6 months since I have seen one running though.
I had a dream recently that I bought one of these on Craigslist for $500 that had some weird factory turbocharged V8, and it made ungodly amounts of torque. I had to go up a very steep mountain road and I had to feather the throttle not to spin the tires and go backwards.
Thank the car gods it's on the wrong coast.
