If I had massive amounts of disposable income, I'd restore the MGA.........they're too pretty to deserve this fate. I'm sure the resto would be north of 80k for a car worth 30k when done.....

If I had the money, I'd have driven home the '58 MGA from Mecum.........White/Red completely restored and ran like a top(unusual for an MG?), brought $35k with only "Perfect fashion accessory" and "3 speed" as its description..........it was a 4 speed btw. I hate stupid people.
In fact, I attempted to bribe the guard at the gatehouse to let me commute back and forth the whole week in it. Its also the only time my favorite car driven at the auctions came on the first day.

This reminds me that I need to get my 56 MGA back on the road. I have finished all of the suspension, wired it, replaced the SU carbs with a weber, really just need to finish it. I have been saying the for almost 20 years.
