He said the trailer has a title, car has no log book. Bunch of extra parts also! Going to look Friday, it is stored in Indiana not Detroit.

It wouldn't take all that much to make that car into a vintage racer, eligible for the 2.5 Challenge. At least, that's what I'd do with it if I had a pole barn to store it in.
Dang it, he said he couldn't show it until Friday but he just emailed me that it was sold. Doh!

Actually, I offered him $900 for the car and he could sell the trailer separate. I doubt the car will be scrapped. Marc in Indy

Nope :(
In the last 7 years I sold two different vintage race cars, teched that year in good condition with two races that year. One sold for 3k, one for 2k. Each took over a year to find a buyer. I don't blame the seller for taking the first cash buyer that showed up rather than risking me not showing up on Sunday. Talked to him a length this am. He was upfront he had multiple serious buyers. Seemed like a legit racer looking to move on. Marc in Indy

I emailed him back that if they fell through I'd come get it.
I hope the new owner gets it back on track in GTL, or as a vintage racer.
He said he was club racing it because the cage hasn't been updated to the current gtlite specs.
