Wikipedia lists it at a 2100ish-lb curb weight. I wonder how true that is for this late turbo . . .

An Australian site says 1060kg (or 2337lb).

I owned a cordia turbo. It was truly a steaming pile of E36 M3.

That could be fixed easily enough.

Not that it makes all that much difference, but:

The front "grille" on the earlier Cordias was a simpler design....and in my view, nicer looking.

Mitsu also sold a 4 door version of this called a Tredia. If I remember correctly, Tredias were also available with and without the turbo engine.

Cordia and Tredia, sounds like Amish sisters.

Yes it is; I have owned two of them. It is a 4g63B. Sirius, 2.0, SOHC, non-turbo. The 4g63T fits in with minimal problems as it is a bolt-together affair with the correct parts. The car weighs 2230 with a half-tank of gas, no (absolutely none) interior, 4g63T, and KM210.

Tredia= Generic Econobox

Caordia=Toyota Celica

Starion=Porsche944

They were all available turbo or non turbo versions, and these were their preceived competition when they were introduced. Changes would come to each model later, but, that was the lineup when Mitsubishi introduced their own line of cars and dealers to the US.

You are right about the one posted....... I should have qualified my argument by saying that you could get a Cordia with a 4g63, just not the 4g63T. My fault, man.
